This Privacy Policy explains how Gold Rush (“the Game”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information. The Game is intended for users aged 13 and over. By using the Game, you agree to this Policy.

 

1) What data we collect

We collect only what’s needed to operate and improve the Game. Based on our Google Play Data safety disclosure, the app may collect:

App interactions (e.g., feature usage, session events).

App info and performance

Crash logs (error details and context when the app crashes).

Diagnostics (performance, stability, telemetry).

Other app performance data (e.g., load times, device performance signals).

Approximate location (country/region inferred from IP address; no precise GPS).

Device or other identifiers (e.g., device model, OS version, language, app version; may include an app-scoped/device identifier).

Gameplay & progress: If you log in, we store your cloud save (progress, items, settings).

Purchases: For Google Play in-app purchases we receive limited purchase information (e.g., purchase token/status) to deliver items. We do not receive your full payment details.

No ads & no UGC: We do not show ads and we do not have chats/voice/user-generated content.

Permissions: The Game does not require camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise location.

 

2) Why we use data (purposes & legal bases for EEA/UK)

We use personal information to operate the Game (including login, cloud saves and purchases), to analyze and improve performance, to maintain security and prevent fraud, and to comply with legal obligations.

We do not run email or push marketing and do not show ads.

 

3) Sharing with service providers (as shown in Play’s “Data shared”)

We may share the categories above with our processors (third-party service providers) solely to provide the Game and analytics on our behalf. These providers are contractually restricted from using data for their own independent purposes.

We do not “sell” or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

 

4) International transfers

Our providers may process data in multiple countries (including the United States). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) offered by those providers.

 

5) Retention

Account & cloud save: kept while your account is active; removed upon your request or after prolonged inactivity.

Analytics & performance data (incl. crash logs): typically retained by providers for up to 24 months in aggregated or pseudonymized form.

Purchase records: retained as required by law and to prevent fraud.

 

6) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and backups through our providers. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

 

7) Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, and port your data.

In-app deletion: Settings → Account Information → Delete Account → Delete (removes your cloud save/account).

Email requests: contact contact@rovikgames.com from the email linked to your account.

Facebook: you can also revoke the Game’s access in your Facebook settings; we will delete associated data upon a verified request.

 

8) Children

The Game is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

 

9) California (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by CPRA. California residents may request to know, delete, or correct their personal information via contact@rovikgames.com. We will not discriminate for exercising rights.

 

10) Cookie and Data Collection Policy

We use cookies, web beacons, advertising identifiers, and similar technologies (“Data Collection Tools”) in Gold Rush and on our website (“Service”). These tools collect technical information such as IP address, device type, browser details, pages visited, time spent, and in-game activity. In some cases, this data may be linked to your account ID.

We use this information to:

  • operate and improve the Service,
  • personalize your experience,
  • measure performance, and
  • manage and deliver advertising.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and reset or limit advertising identifiers in your device settings. Please note that disabling Data Collection Tools may affect the functionality of the Service.

By using the Service, you consent to our use of Data Collection Tools as described in this policy.

 

11) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. We will post the updated version in the Game and update the Effective date above. For material changes, we will provide an in-app notice. Where applicable law requires consent for the processing of your data under this Privacy Policy, your continued use of the Services on or after the Last Revised date will constitute acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, those changes. In the event that the terms should be amended to comply with legal requirements, the amendments may take effect immediately, or as required by the law and without any prior notice.

  2. Click on "Delete Account" in account information section

  3. Click "Delete" Button
